We are currently on the lookout for a website front-end developer who could work with us on a freelance basis, from visual designs provided by us.

We like to work at the leading edge of standards-based coding, providing our clients with modern solutions that respond effectively to their needs and the needs of their visitors.

Broadly speaking the skills we're looking for are as follows:

HTML5 for markup (with an appreciation that it's more than just a doctype)
CSS3 for presentation, with awareness of current browser support issues & following the principles of progressive enhancement
LESS for dynamic stylesheet development
jQuery for interaction/behaviour & to enhance usability
Responsive design - we subscribe to the 'mobile first' principle
